13 Weeks and Fingerprints

Today I had to get my fingerprints taken for Immigration - for my new green card. As the gentleman rolled my fingers over the pad, and a large impression of my different prints appeared on the screen in front of us, I was struck by the fact that this week my little baby's entirely unique fingerprints have been formed. He/she is a the size of a small lime, or a medium shrimp, so imagine how teeny the little fingers are!

I'm feeling a lot better these days. Some nausea will mostly come at night, but it's gone for the most part during the day. I'm still pretty tired though. In fact, I was just up pottering about and doing some housework and had to take a rest, which is why I'm here talking to you.

13-14 weeks is supposed to be the end of the first trimester and I'm really hoping that in the next couple of weeks I'll have my energy back in full force!
