Thank goodness for my mom in the first few weeks - sleep deprivation, new-mom anxieties, hormones, etc were making me crazy. I took showers and napped while she held the baby. When he was that young he would only nap in someone's arms, and Nanna's arms were very loving.

Story time with Dad. Pax doesn't really get it right now, but he's still happy as a clam to be in our arms.

Our little pea in the pod! This was taken a couple of weeks before his 3 month birthday. It's so surreal to think we have a 3 month old. In some ways, it's crazy that a mere 3,5 months ago we didn't have a child, but on the other hand, these 3 months have passed so slowly. I guess that happens when your lives get turned upside down and literally revolve around milestones in a mini-life. So far we've rejoiced over lengthening sleep cycles (woot woot!); rolling over a couple times; increased tummy time strength; reciprocal smiles; cooing, gurgling, laughing & squealing; and all the other cute things he does and expressions he has all day long.
Truly, he's a joy and we love him so very much. We cannot imagine life without him now, and look forward to the days to come with our little buddy.
